SCTE Regional Representative Nomination Form
Call For Nominations:
SCTE is seeking passionate leaders to fill vacant Regional Representative seats, and we want your voice at the table. Are you ready to bring fresh perspectives, help shape the future of our chapters, and represent the needs of members across your region? This is your opportunity.
Eligibility:
- Must be an SCTE member in Good Standing for a minimum of three years and submit a biography which includes a summary of membership experiences.
- Manager must sign off that the management of his/her company supports candidacy fulfilling the requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities
Regional Reps are elected leaders who serve as the critical link between SCTE chapters, associate members, and Society leadership. Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as ex officio members on chapter boards in your region
- Promoting technical training and SCTE programs such as CAP and Cortex
- Leading quarterly “State of the Society” calls with chapter leaders
- Visiting each chapter (virtually or in person) at least once per two-year term
- Supporting chapter compliance, engagement, and event coordination
- Sharing updates with SCTE HQ and identifying chapters in need of support
- Acting as ambassadors for the Society at the local and regional level
- Highly recommend: Attend the SCTE Chapter Leadership Conference (CLC) including the yearly Regional Representative meeting to be held at the CLC. Related travel costs are the responsibility of the individual; SCTE headquarters or SCTE chapters will not reimburse related travel costs.

- Region 1: California, Hawaii, Nevada
- Region 3: Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Washington
- Region 5: Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska
- Region 9: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Puerto Rico
- Region 12: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont
