Mid-Columbia Chapter WiFi TrainingMorning Session: 9am to 11:30am Afternoon Session (repeat of morning): 1:00pm to 3:30pm Dan Dillon from Trilithic Who will present a training session on the topic of : “Wi-Fi...Everything is AWESOME...In theory anyway” This learning seminar we will start with a brief overview covering the history of Wi-Fi, what today’s wireless environment looks like, how important Wi-Fi is to today’s connected society, and what the future holds for Wi-Fi. In addition, we will enter into a discussion about how Wi-Fi works, best practices to use when deploying wireless net-works, and examine some of the common factors that can negatively affect your customer’s QoS. Finally, we will wrap up the session by providing an in-depth training on how to troubleshoot wireless network performance issues using the newest test tools! (*Focused for all levels of technicians in the Cable Communications Industry. Both a morning session and a repeat afternoon session will be offered for your convenience. Fees- SCTE Members are free.
