Excellence in Learning and Development Award
Purpose
The Excellence in Learning and Development Award recognizes the achievements of learning and development professionals within the cable telecommunications community who have demonstrated significant success toward advancing the careers of others through the innovative use of cable telecommunications technology-centric curricula learning programs and/or presenting content in a way that improves the cable knowledge in the industry.
Nominations: Nominations for the 2024 award are due by June 7, 2024. To nominate an SCTE member, please use the nomination form.
2023 Recipient
Jeramy Allen, Director of Learning Engagement at Comcast
Jeramy Allen has over 20 years’ experience with Field Operations and Learning and Development. Jeramy has been instrumental in helping technicians connect learning to real-life experiences. He led many successful projects, including advanced tech progression programs, new safety initiatives, real-time and contextual technical training videos, and a wireless technology council. He is a true mentor to others and serves as a liaison for professional networks to connect team members outside of their specific field. Jeramy is an advocate and ambassador for SCTE. He has become a champion for SCTE learning content and worked with Comcast and other industry leaders to recommend courses and learning journeys to Comcast technicians. Congratulations Jeramy.
