The SCTE Excellence in Standards Award honors an SCTE Standards Program participant who has significantly contributed to both the technical standards program and the spirit of cooperation necessary for the success of voluntary standards.

2023 Recipient

Tim Cooke, Director of Product Management at Amphenol Broadband Solutions

Our award winner, Tim Cooke, exemplifies the spirit of cooperation necessary to the success of the SCTE Standards programs. With over 40 years of service within the cable industry, he supports the full array of power and wireless solutions for Amphenol Broadband. He has been a member of SCTE since 1992 and has been a standards contributor for the Interface Practices Subcommittee (IPS) since that time. Contributing to almost every working group within IPS. He has served as chairman of IPS, chairman of IPS 3 GHz Task Force and member of the SCTE Engineering Committee. Congratulations Tim on this well-deserved honor.
