SCTE Standards Department maintains a complimentary e-mail distribution list to announce standards updates. E-mail addresses added to this list will receive notification when a new standards project is announced, when the SCTE Engineering Committee approves a document as a SCTE Standard and when ANSI officially approves an SCTE Standard as an American National Standard.

Additional news and announcements such as SCTE standards events and meetings, formations of new groups (subcommittees, working groups, study groups, etc.) and updates on committee personnel changes may also be made available to participants.
