
Engineering & Technical Operations Committee

The SCTE Engineering and Technical Operations Committee shall be responsible for advising the Board on prioritization of standards, operating procedures and training for development by the Society into products and services of the Society for the cable telecommunications and broadband communications industry to transition new technologies and services into deployment and operations. Any other subcommittees or working groups necessary for prioritization of standards, operating procedures and training for development will report to this committee.

Learning & Development Committee

This committee is empowered to provide direction and input for all learning and development programs of the Society for the benefit of its members, chapters and the industry as a whole according to the objectives set forth in the Bylaws of the Society. The learning and development programs proposed by the committee should serve to raise the professional competence in the practice of individuals in the cable telecommunications industry and to encourage those individuals to continue their professional development. Chapter Support & Membership Committee

The Chapter Support & Membership Committee exists to provide a positive experience to chapters and associate members and provide resources and support to Chapter Leaders. This committee is empowered to provide input for chapter and affiliate requirements, chapter and membership awards programs, and membership benefits of the Society for the benefit of its sole voting member and its associate members according to the objectives set forth in the Bylaws of the Society. The programs envisioned by the committee should serve to provide recognition, resources and requirements to ensure the vitality of chapters and professional development of chapter participants. The programs should also serve to raise industry and peer recognition of Society associate members and to encourage those individuals to continue their professional development. The committee accomplishes this through various subcommittees and task forces.
